Lines are long tonight for a limited number of passports to downtown Minot. That passport gets you into over a dozen different businesses for the first ever Wine Walk. Samples of wine and hors d’oeuvres were waiting for the wine walkers inside the different businesses. The event is designed to not only to be a wine tasting event but also an open house and fundraiser for the beautification of downtown Minot. The Wine Walk began at ‘Off the Vine’ and wove its way up and down Main Street… (Diana Rylander, Off the Vine Owner ) They can see where we’re all at and all the different unique shops that are downtown and in the meantime they’re contributing to a good cause so we can buy some new lights and benches to try and beautify downtown Minot. We sold out 100% of our tickets. We started out small this year so we could get a good handle on what we’re doing so we can expand and get bigger and better next year. There were only 300 tickets available to this year’s Wine Walk. It began at 5pm and lasts until 9.
