(ek) venus pizza has been around for 30 years… today, the coventry restaurant rose from the ashes, and got back to business. today it was a ribbon cutting and a lot of cheering for venus pizza– owned by “senator lou raptakis.” but back in october, a roof fire forced the popular restaurant to close its doors. raptakis originally said renovations would only take 4 to 5 weeks…. but the damage was a lot worse than he’d predicted. aside from the fire, –smoke and water damage left venus pizza with 250 thousand dollars worth of damage. now, months after that fire, the doors are back open, the kitchen is busy, and raptakis is grateful. -13:36:29 you’re putting people back to work, part of teh community, a 30 yr traditi… and being a
