Wal-Mart… Its based on getting votes through Facebook..and as of late this afternoon..THIS area is still in the lead… But as Gerry Ricciutti tells us..there are still several more days of voting left… Its seems the need never ceases…Youngstown’s Second Harvest Foodbank took in 13-thousand requests last year from the three county area…Catholic Charities helps close 20- thousand families each year in the Valley… This month..the two charities are teaming up..vying for a piece of $2-million dollars being awarded by Wal-Mart as part of the chain’s “Fighting Hunger Together” campaign…First place is worth a Million..and as of 7-o’clock this morning..this area was ahead of hundreds of other communities around the country… While workers with the two agencies are encouraging people to go to Wal-Mart’s Facebook site and vote for the local effort..support has grown exponentially..tha
