>>> welcome back here at nine. hey we have taken out back because this is the segment that’s going to matter getting you ready for a great weekend here across maryland. we are talking about the grill and we are joined by the chief chef and people don’t know how important it is to a man do they? >> this is our me in front of the grill. >> this is where you live. >> exactly. >> one of the things we want to talk about is grilling vegetables. >> yes. >> it can be testy and this is something you can mess up and don’t realize you are doing. >> yes. >> what is the trick. >> well the trick for me is cutting the vegetables a little thicker. that way they don’t cook too quick and have a nice hot grill and season them nicely and paying attention to them. you know, being are don’t walk away. and make sure that everything is perfect and you use lower heat for the vegetables than if you cook meat. >>
