School Lunch Provider Partners With Johnston Farm
Students in 11 Rhode Island communities will have access to local produce when they eat their lunches this school year.
eleven cities and towns will be getting local produce when they sit down to eat lunch at school this year. cafeteria company sodex-ho is partnering with johnston’s pezza farm– which will grow vegetables and fruits for schools. the company says it’s part of an effort to use fresh, local food while providing healthy meals for students.
