>>> on “positively tampa bay” today we’re visiting the florida aquarium, home to more than 20,000 aquatic plants and animals. it’s not just a tourist destination. it’s a non-profit hosting educational programs for local students year-round. joining us with more is tom wagner. thank you for coming in. >> thank you. >> reporter: you have come back from the best educational program, the amazon. how did you to that. tell us about that. >> it was a two-week program. we took ten middle-school students with us to really immerse them in not just a new culture but a completely foreign environment. being on the rain forest for two weeks allowing those students to learn about the important environment and how it impacts a global environment, too. we allowed them to really kind of interact with the local natives on the river. even interact with their own children. in one case, they were in a fishing
