May 22: Spiedini Della Toscana

5/22/11 – 7am – An Italian-style kabob from the butcher shops of Tuscany – authentic Italian style grilling at it’s best!
christine: i’m here with chef mick rosacci from tony’s market. on the menu this morning…spiedini della toscana.. > > i saw these in a butcher shop when i was in italy. they all made something similar to this. you can use different kinds of meat. you can use pork chops or a piece of beef sirloin. we caught these up and put them in this tuscan the burma rub. that basically formed your marinade. i have half pour chops and half of beef in here. the marinade needs to set for 24 hours. you could use balsamic vinaigrette if you did not have all of the ingredients for the marinade. i wil put these on the skewer. i want my beef to be caught little bit less so i will put that on first. i have italian sausage here. the italian sausage cooke’s real nice. this is not on the recipe but we will take some italian bacon and wrap it. you can also use regular bacon if you want. again it’s not on the reci
