1/30/11 – 9am – Zesty marinated steaks, chicken or pork grilled outdoors or seared indoors in a pan – served over Jalapeno Mashed Potatoes and with a Guacamole Salad.
>>on the menu this morning…grilled carne asada.. > > you can start by marinating. i am using stake today. i am adding some alignment budlime zest. you can use salt and pepper chili powder. let’s put some garlic in there too. then we will finish it up with some olive oil. then give an update to marinate if you can. then we will grill at. i love these grill pans. you get nice grill marks. it’s a great way to grill when it is too cold to do it outside. i went ahead and a grilled some of these onions. we are going to make a salad for this. guacamole salad. i have shredded cabbage as well as carrots salary and you can put some lettuce and mary if you want. i like to use this tequila lime sauce. it’s like a cold slaw mex. this is a standard item at tony’s market. the guacamole is the key here. we want to try and get as many vegetables and there as possible. i will pare this with jalapeno mas
