Today on the Rhode Show we’re learning how to make delectable blueberry scones with Chef Steve Cory of Cory’s Kitchen at Sweet Berry Farm.
>> we are in the kitchen this morning making blueberry scones. i love scones in general. >> who doesn’t love blueberries? >> who doesn’t love scones. let’s go over the ingredients. >> the star of the show with the berries, today literally picking blueberries and blackberries. peaches on the tree probably sooner than we think. >> with heat are things coming quicker than usual? >> the fruit love the dry. they really do. >> we’ve got the blueberries, raspberries, everything ready to go. >> we’re going to start with some flour. salt, which is optional folks, baking powder and sugar, which can be optional. we’re going to cut in some cold, diced butter. we’re going to beat an egg and throw in some burden milk. throw it altogether and put in some blueberries. scones can be fun, what do you like. >> if you’re not a fan of the berries, you don’t have to put that in. you can put in chocolate chips
