Honey Nut French Toast

Janet Braithwaite, Runner-Up in the 2010 Make it with Malt O-Meal contest, shares her delicious recipe. nnHoney Nut French Toastnn1 cup milknn3/4 cup whipping creamnn1/2 cup sugarnn2 teaspoons vanillann2 teaspoons cinnamonnn4 large eggsnn6 slices multi-grain breadnn3 cups finely crushed Malt-O-Meal Honey & Oat Blenders Cerealnn1 cup finely chopped pecansnn nnPreheat oven to 350 degrees.nn nnCombine milk, whipping cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and eggs; whisk until sugar is dissolved.nn nnDip bread into milk and egg mixture then dredge in cereal and pecans that you have mixed together.nn nnPlace on a baking sheet you have sprayed with butter spray. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with real maple syrup along-side vanilla yogurt and strawberries (sprinkle yogurt with cinnamon).
