>> welcome back to “san antonio living. living.” any mom knows how hard it is to create healthy meals for the kids especially every day in the summer when they are home and then how do you get them to eat it? we have the answer. there is a new company in san antonio called smirking chicks and i want to tell come you back, this is fredanthony, he is the chef and owner at our local vegan and vegetarian restaurant and now you’re bringing your tastes to our kids. >> sure. >> how did this come about? >> i think it came about where i saw lots of kids coming into the restaurant and saying this is the only place my kid can eat with a gluten issue or peanut allergy, and there is just tons of that going on and i met my partner and she had a cld with a lot of food allergies and issues and was also vegan and she has this great concept and idea and we put our forces together and c up with the recipes
