Girl Scouts in Schnecksville, Lehigh County learned how to make better eating choices Monday night.nThe girls were taken around Weis Markets in one of the stores Mystery Tours.nThe tour shows the kids healthy sections of the store all while searching for “energy” the foods can give them!nManagers say it’s a way to help kids understand why eating healthy is important.n”Make good choices and learn about other things besides a can of soda and a bag of chips. I think that’s what we’re trying to do here is to show them what we have in the produce department, what we have in the other areas of the store,” said Weis Markets assistant manager Craig Bernhart.nThe tours are offered to groups throughout the year.
