different fruits and vegetables. the gardens hope by selling the fruits of their labor, they will keep the nursery running. we have peas here mona dyer walks the rows of this plot at bookcliff gardens. she is one of the people who takes care of this produce. armenian cumbers employees at the garden pick the plants everyther day. the food gets washed off and brought inside. then it’s put in a fridge and sold to the public. we are just selling out of our location here. jury is still out on how successful that will be or not. in an effort to keep money coming in during this economy, bookcliff gardens decided to start growing. not only will this garden feed people here in the grand valley but it will also keep the nursery busy. it’s just a way to provide some income for the company and some work for the employees during a traditionally slow part of the year. even though this on-location sale
