>>> it’s time to get cooking. we’re at the chef’s academy. joining me today is executive chef scott taupe with butler university. welcome. >> thank you, thank you, it’s good to be here. >> so you’re going to be preparing a dish for us that actually the college kids even get to eat. >> i do. >> this is pretty good stuff. > we have a dish we do from time to time in some of our dining halls. very popular on the catering menu. a banana-chocolate spring roll with a dipping sauce. and it’s on some of the dessert menus we do. what we’re going to do is we’re going to take — we’re going to take a bana real quick. it doesn’t need to be very pretty. it will go in the spring roll. dice it up, little tiny piece, as best we k the riper the bana, the better. if you have some bruising on there, again, that’s fine. because it will make that bana that much sweeter. plain nestle tollhouse chocolate chips
