world is winding down. we really made you wait a long time for this potato salad, but it’s worth the wait. this is sue from neenah. thanks for coming on the show. >> my pleasure, amy. >> sue e-mailed me this recipe, i’m like, we have to do this on the show. anything with bacon, and it’s german potato salad. >> yes, and i got from it my friend. her parents re from germany. she gave me the recipe and i jazzed it up some. it originally called for cold, but i made it hot. i can make it the same way it is, i always have to be streaking recipes, it’s just my nature. >> i do that to. life german potato salad warm, that just makes it special, i think. >> it’s a very god comfort food for winter. my son loves it, and my husband and his folks lover it. >> it’s a great side to brats. i love this recipe because it’s really easy, my kind of recipe. we started out with some bacon. full pound of bacon.
