If the storms this morning didn’t wake you up…the breakfast at the North Dakota State Fair certainly could have! Once again this year KX Co-Op Day started with a free pancake and sausage breakfast. Cooperatives from across the state helped out to make sure the early morning fair-goers were walking around with a full stomach. Bruce Carlson with Verendrye Electric says the rain that fell could have created a problem for the breakfast that is traditionally served at Pioneer Village…but he says help from the State Fair getting a second location made it possible. Crazy enough, the rain and change of venue may have actually helped attenDance for the free feed making it more visible. That would mean well over a thousand people stopped by to start their day off right.
