Hungry travelers will soon have a place to grab a bite to eat at Minot’s International Airport. Today the Airport Committee approved a lease agreement with RSVP Group for a coffee and finger food service to be run in the former site of a restaurant in the airport terminal. The non-profit organization plans to utilize college students and volunteers over the age of 50 to conduct its services. Airport Director Patrick Dame says the new service will be a great opportunity to try a new business model at the airport. Minot International Airport was once home to a full service restaurant but closed over a decade ago because of a drop in usage. The new lease is set for a two year period starting November 10th.
