of garlic, and i’m going to just saute that in a litt bit of olive oil and really give some great garlic flavor to this di. what that’s going to do is just mellow it out a little bit. if i were to put straight-up garlic cloves in the dip it would be fine, but this is going to sweeten it up just like you’re sauteing onions, same idea. or if you’ve ever had roasted garlic, you know how amazing that is. well, this is kind of a quick way to do it. so i’ve got a couple cloves of garlic. i like to just give them a whack with the back of my knife and dice them up a little bit. we’re going to throw this into the fod processor, so it doesn’t have to be perfect. got a little olive oil here into a nonstick skillet. and this dip is completely a make-ahead. that’s one thing i always make sure that i have on hand is in the morning before we head out to do our thing at the cotage, i’ll usually throw to
