>>> we’re in the kitchen with chef judi gallagher. i have never had a sandwich like this before, and i’m excited to give it a cry. >> we are glorifying the good old blt. >> i still like bacon. >> i had to make it fresher. people say that you can’t necessarily find great vegetables in florida, sure you can. i go to yoder’s produce stand and they get the vegetables from michigan this time of year. whenever you’re looking for what is in season around here, a magazine like edible sarasota is a great source to find out what is really in season. they come out quarterly, and the magazines are located everywhere, but you can also look online. it’s a great source to find out what is coming in season and what we can expect. like i said, these vegetables are fantastic. i have summer squash and zucchini. i cut them and drizzle a little sea salt, course sea salt and olive oil. let it sit, and john, l
