weeks fairbanks flavor. today chef tim is showing us how to make a delicious dip you’ll for sure want to enjoy together, with your friends and family. chef tim>> chef tim here at the westmark kitchen for fairbanks flavor today, and we’re going to be making brie and leek dip. i love leeks, there’s a wonderful flavor, i know when i started cooking, back in the dark ages, it was very difficult to come by them. the problem with leeks is that they can be a little bit challenging. what you want to do is just trim off some wilted greens here, you just run your knife just do that with it and pull it right off, and trim off this part. the problem with leeks is that they can be very challenging because they can have dirt in those layers, so the trick i find is to slice them up and then to wash them in three changes of water. and don’t be lazy, make sure you wash it at least three times, you may co
