Before the shopping came the feasting.nMore than 100 people in Reading enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal thanks to Afro Latino Magazine.nThe magazine’s owner and volunteers served up fried turkey, jerk turkey, Dominican turkey, collared greens and even mac and cheese here at the Legion Hall on North Third Street.nWe’re told no one went home hungry.n”You could eat all you want plus you can take a plate home,” said Afro Latino Magazine owner Earl Lucas.n Organizers say this is the first year they organized a Thanksgiving meal, and they say they plan to make it an annual event.
