Aaron McCargo Jr., host of Big Daddy’s House on Food Network, has seen childhood hunger. Winner of the 2008 season of Next Food Network Star, McCargo, grew up in tough part of New Jersey, but through his passion for cooking and his entrepreneurial spirit, he has built an amazing life for his family – his wife and three children – and the countless youths he helps through his own non-profit efforts in his hometown of Camden. To help make sure there is no kid hungry in America, Aaron is joining with Share Our Strength’s Great American Dine Out® during the week of September 19-25 to encourage families to head out for dinner in support of the cause. Throughout the week, thousands of restaurants nationwide will join together to raise money to end childhood hunger in America. People across the country are encouraged to “dine out” at participating restaurants.
