Garlic Scapes are also known as garlic spears, garlic stems or garlic tops and they the immature flower stalks (scapes) of the garlic. They are typically removed in order to focus all the garlic’s energy into bulb growth. Garlic Scapes have a milder taste than garlic cloves and are typically used in Asian cooking such as stir frys.
