Pulau Kapas, Part 1: A Stroll Along the Beach

Pulau Kapas, located just six kilometers off of the coast of north-eastern Malaysia, is severely underrated.  If beach-bumming is your prerogative, leaving this blissfully torpid island off of your itinerary is a blunder.Ancient rock formations speak of the advanced age of this part of the world - this island has looked very similar for the past 130 million years.Reach the island by a ferry departing from Marang, a coastal burgh. ...

Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia: Wandering through the Kampong

Pulau Duyong is an island in the mouth of the Terengganu River on the outskirts of Kuala Terengganu, a small, provincial capital in North-Eastern Malaysia.
