This bar of Meakao 72% is one of the finest Madagascan dark chocolate bars I've ever reviewed. It's very much full of flavour which lasts an age. If you're ever able to try it I would. It's made in Madagascar from locally grown cocoa. You may also like:Amedei 1er Cru 70% Single Origin From MadagascarÃ…kesson’s 75% Criollo MadagascarPatric Chocolate Madagascar 67%

Valrhona Echantillon Manaka

But innovation shouldn’t just rest with the chocolatier taking couverture and playing with new inclusions, it should also rest with the chocolate maker. This is exactly […]No related posts.

Ara Chocolat Belize 71% and Agua Fria 70%

Two new bars from Ara found their way to my desk and I'm damn glad that they have. They're fantastic - but both completely different. Strangely the Venezuelan has a good level of intensity while the Belize is very soft and creamy. No related posts.

Raven Chocolate

This is a first for me. I don’t recall any British bean to bar chocolate maker producing a white. I was startled when I opened up the packaging that had “vanilla bean” on it to find out that it was a white – and a sweet one at that. Recently I’ve tried white, often ‘toasted’ […]No related posts.

Shibui Chocolate & Ginger Tea

Breakfast tea is boring. For generations there’s been a wide variety of interesting tea leaves available to us but we, as a nation, crave the same type of morning cuppa. For a while I’ve been extending my collection of herbal and flavoured teas, I’ve even devoted a kitchen cupboard to them – much to […]You may also like:House of Dorchester Stem Ginger Connoisseur Collection
